Academic Institutions

Tailored to: Professional Development Programmes in Academic Institutions

The objective of the SITE4Sustainability academic writing mentoring service is to contribute to the visibility of academic institutions by helping their doctoral students and their staff publish their articles in good peer-reviewed scientific journals.  We aim to help scholars craft a compelling story from their research that meets the expectations of the targeted journal or audience

This division will be handled by Prof. Dr. Shyama V. Ramani, who has published 47 articles in international peer-reviewed journals, 22 chapters in books, 29 articles for the general public and edited 3 book volumes. Professor Ramani holds a PhD in economics from Cornell University, USA. Her research focuses on the relationships between technology, innovation and their governance for inclusive development.

Scholars and practitioners will be invited to come with an initial complete draft, and guidance will be provided to them to effectively transform their work into a manuscript of high publishable quality.

Our tailor-made training and feedback sessions take the form of small-group trainings and individual meetings to help:

  • develop an appealing structure that talks to the problem addressed;
  • explain key concepts clearly;
  • provide a justification for the methodology;
  • communicate key research outcomes effectively;
  • build a support for further diffusion through a detailed presentation as well as a brief.

Our services apply to different stages of the writing journey, from the initial conceptualisation to the structuring, writing and formatting of the manuscript before submission to a journal.

Experienced English language editors in our team can go over the manuscript for an additional fee.

We are open to discuss works grounded in the Social, Economics / Management & Environmental Sciences.

Testimonial: “The guidance of Prof. Ramani has had a tremendous impact on the quality of my manuscripts. With her support, I was able to publish in high ranked journals such as Research Policy and Social Sciences and Medicine.”
